Charming and elegant women have always been a favorite subject for artists. Since 2000, I have created over a hundred paintings on the theme of the “Golden Age (Mysteries Woven into Illusion),(” depicting a diverse range of female figures. To this day, I have also composed dozens of short poems to accompany these paintings. I hope you enjoy it.

Artist; Chung Siu-Yau (鍾筱攸) is an Live between Hong Kong and the UK who integrates his diverse background in music and painting studied in Philadelphia, USA.

Publications: Chung Siu Yau piano series (1-6) set 1988-1991.

Chung Siu Yau series (The Golden Age poetry and painting Album) The wisdom of

life, Zen and natural, Boundless dust anthologies. Chung’s works were on exhibition

at Biennial several times. As well as many other exhibitions home and abroad.

He won the Gold Award at the 2006 Beijing International Art Exposition. And The

International Prize Caravaggio-Great Master of Art in Milano. in 2018 December. The

International Art Prize Botticelli in Borghese Palace in Florence Italy the 9th of

Chung’s has developed a unique style of painting by combining Chinese and Western

techniques, and like to employ specific subject matter to deliver his artistic expression.

In the stillness of night,

The nightingale lingers, reluctant to sing.

I sit on the edge of my bed,

opening the window of my heart,

Letting the gentle moonlight

caress my face.

The breeze drifts softly, sometimes quick, sometimes slow,

while I remain still,

eyes lowered, lost in thought.

I think of nothing,

Letting my spirit

soar freely across the sky.
